"So maybe I shouldn't have, maybe it was my fault. I knew what I was, I knew what I could do, and how extremely reckless I was. It was wrong of me as well, I shouldn't have done what I did... but I did... and it led me to you..."
It srated off with me in the old manor that was rumored to be haunted...
The manor was old, it was very old and rumored to be haunted. I didn't care, it was my home, and besides... it wasn't haunted, not at all. And as for all the rumors about it, my ancestors had created them, it's a wonder what a little power of persuasion and a little glamour charm would do. But now... they're all dead, we, being who were, were cursed with eternal life... not immortality but eternal life. However, they had been killed, all of them killed by the filthiest species in this world, and maybe all other worlds: humans It's all their fault that I was alone, and why my kind, as well as all the other creatures, all hated me and started to hunt me down waiting...
I walked out of the grand doors of the beautiful manor, ready for yet another day in the land of the mortals. I was out on the sidewalk, with my glamour charm on, slightly grateful that I didn't tan or burn easily... and that I wasn't a vampire... or a lamia as they prefer to be referred as. I walked silently and carried my bag carefully. Then someone whizzed past me on a bicycle and I turned to glare at whoever it was, but unfortunately, I forgot to stop walking and tripped, stumbled and fell.
And guess who I fell on, a stupid filthy human The sole reason as to my predicament now: alone and defenseless. They were alson the reason as to why I was beign hunted down!
"Watch your step," I snarled at the person who ahd fallen with me. He looked at me weirdle and I rose from the ground [unlike a zombie] to glare at the human boy a little bit more.
"I'm... sorry?" he said in a confused tone, a questioning tone. I ignored the boy's answer and rolled my eyes. Before walking away and after he rose, I pushed him out of my way, causign him to fall back down to the ground: where he belonged.
I picked up my bag before walking down the streets to the school that wasn't too far from my home. While walking, I continued to curse the existence of humans in my mind. Finally, I stood there, allowing the sun to beam down on me, looking at the perfect manicured green lawns, that were being watered as I watched, and a huge school. I wasn't intimidated though, instead, I strode right into the school like I belonged there: which I didn't.
"Excuse me, Juliana coming through," a girl said in a snobby, perky tone that made me brand her automatically: cheerleader
"If you want to go through, Barbie Doll, ask," I sneered in a sickenly sweet voice that could've given me a cavity, "besides, you're so fat, what made you think you'd fit through?" I said with a smirk, maybe it wasn't a good insult, but girls like her [airheads] always fell for those stupid trivial comments. She immediately gasped to check her waist.
"I'm not fat," she pouted with those lipgloss covered lips.
"Could've fooled me," I cackled before flipping her the finger and walking away, still laughing and giving everyone the impression that I was an idiot.
I was walking down the halls, trying to find the class that I supposedly belonged in. Where ever that was... I swept my raven black hair into a ponytail. If only I was eighteen... I'd be a full demon and wouldn't have to be here. Id'd be able to incinerate the stupid humans who stood in my way... absolutely anyone... and on top of that... I'd reach my full power.
I opened the door with the same numbers that the card indicated and walked in. I took a seat far from the preppies, the jocks, the cheerleaders, the wannabes, and all the other little cliques that had been formed after sixteen and a half years of living in this god foresaken town. I didn't want to be like one of them, hence why I didn't try to fit in, I was special and I knew it.
Someone took a seat next to me. I wish I came into full pwoer, I was looking forward to sitting by myself. Besides, if I came to full power, I would be able to incinerate those filthy monsters that have tried to destroy me, and I'm proud to say that they have all failed. However, trying to destroy them was hard and healing myself was just as hard, if not, harder... I turned my attention to my long nails painted black like my hair. I pulled out a nail filer and started to sharpen them. However much it freaked out the person next to me, he didn't move, much to my dismay.
"Hey, what's your name?" he said casually as he recovered from the shock.
"It's none of your concern," I snipped as the teacher tried to shout over all the voices of the juniors in the classroom.
"SERENA DAMON?!" the teacher managed over the chaos in the room as I looked up with a bored expression, still filing my nails.
"Was there something you wanted?" I said coolly, however, you may call it coldly.
"Nothing, dear, it was just role call," she stammered as I rolled my eyes and turned away.
"Serena?" the boy who sat next to me said as he placed his hand on my desk.
I slammed my newly filed hand down onto his, and the nails dug into his skin almost drwaing blood. I could see the look he had, he was in pain and I thrived on that: the pain. I wouldn't have him in any other way but that... I dug my nails in deeper and broke through the skin causing him to bleed for real.
"Speak to me once again, you pathetic excuse of a human and you will meet your death," I growled menacingly as I removed my hand and he saw the ruby red droplets of blood.
"I was jsut wondering why I never saw you before," he scowled as he took a tissue to stop the bleeding, "there's no need to act so paranoid," he added simply as I rolled my eyes for untempth [A/N: iThink iSpelled that wrong] time that day.
"Apparently, I don't care," I gritted out each word through my teetch as I heard the bell ring.
I picked up my bag from the ground and stormed out of the classroom. I hated humans. IT should be wrong that I had to spend time with them, it should be wrong after what they did to me, after what they had taken from me. But it wasn't wrong, and I'm stuck here or else I'd have to fine some other place to hide so they wouldn't find me... but once I'm eighteen... I won't be able to walk around so freely anymore...
"Hey, Serena!" someone shouted behind me, "wait up," he shouted, the boy.
If... if only I could dispose of him... if only... The boy was so stupid, so, so, so incredibly dimwitteed. I continued to storm through the halls blindly, trying to find my classroom. He caught up to me easily and grabbed my arm. I turned to glare at him with my glamoured blue eyes. But I felt the charm slip away and through his eyes, I saw my coal black eyes. He looked at my furious black eyes, blacker than the night, and released my arm... he looked at them more deeply and took a step back before running away with uncertain fear...
