Those bittersweet memoeies,
Fresh in my mind,
Those tears that slide down my cheeks,
Are salty and sour when they reach my lips,
That sad, sorrowful song,
Plays over in my mind,
And I have no idea what to do,
Since you walked out of my life,
Your short, simple notes,
Full of joy and happiness,
Has left a hole in my life,
And mocked my existence,
And I still remember,
Those sweet summer nights,
The kisses in the rain,
And the light in your eyes,
And all those memories,
Are all so sweet,
So bitter,
My bittersweet memories,
Forever mine to keep,
AS you walk out of my life,
With out a backward glance.
