Poetry [Just Like Glass]

You had my heart,
And it fell from your grasp,
It shattered just like glass,
It could never be repaired,
It could never be whole again,
And as you look for all the pieces,
Some smaller than the others,
Some smaller than a grain of sand,
And like glass,
Never to be whole,
Never be the same again,
Like an ornament it was,
When you were done,
You wouldn't care,
IT couldn't be fixed,
So you threw it out,
Just like the shards of broken glass...

I wrote a poem that went something like that at one point. Yours is better, mine was to blunt. Great poem!
